Swed Houses is a company which imports Swedish technology and materials with the objective of building houses with the following characteristics:
- Very high construction quality.
- Energy saving (the energy consumption for heating is reduced by 80%)
- Significant savings on the final price (950 euros/m2 all inclusive: see houses description)
- Time saving (the total execution time is six months)
Quality:
The preparation, cutting and production of all the elements are done in Sweden and are subject to vigorous quality-control processes. The work is done by specialists, and all pieces are produced with maximum precision. The assembly work is done by specialized Swedish personnel.
The result: No fissures/cracks, no damp, no heat loss…perfect.
Timings:
The execution time in the factory goes from 8-10 weeks according to the size of the house.
The on-site assembly time is from 2-3 months according to the number of floors.
By the second or third week the house is already covered and work can start on the plumbing and interior coatings.
The total construction time is six months from the concession of planning permission to final completion.
Price:
Because of the methods employed, and due to the very competitive price of the excellent wood in Sweden, the final price is 950 euros/m2 (all inclusive), for a level of quality far superior to that offered by a traditional builder.
Flexibility:
The models in this web site illustrate different options of distributions/prices. Their selection will reduce the project time and any variation and modification of these models can be introduced.
They can be adapted to any type of land, no matter the characteristics.
All the coatings and finishes are possible: floorings, tiles, plaster, paints.
Thermal and acoustic insulation:
The facades have an interior rock wool insulation of 21.5 cm thick.
The covers have an interior rock wool insulation of 24 cm thick.
The roofs that separate the interior spaces have a rock wool insulation of 21.5 cm thick.
The floors that separate the interior from the land have an interior rock wool insulation of 21.5 cm thick.
The interior structural walls have an internal rock wool insulation of 9.5 cm thick.
The single partitions have an interior rock wool insulation of 7 cm thick.
Optionally, the external walls can be of the “ventilated facade” type.
Energy Saving:
The cost of energy maintenance is highly reduced since the coverings, floors, facades and windows have insulation four times superior to that required by the regulations. As a result, the heat loss in winter and the exterior heat transmission in summer are minimal.
Preparation Work:
The excavation and creation of the foundations must be done by the local constructor hired by Swed Houses and carried out according to the plans of his architect.
Project:
Our architect, Juan J. Albors, can design all the plans corresponding to the project as permitted by the allow planning licence.
However, if the owner of the land has his own architect, the technical team of Swed Houses can provide him with necessary collaboration and technical support without any cost.
